Kevin joined NORR completing his Masters Degree at The Mackintosh School of Architecture in 1990, having previously worked at Buckinghamshire County Architects and BDP. He became a fellow of the RIAS in 2017.
Kevin has a particular interest in all aspects of creative design and maintains a hands on role in the design process in most of the wide variety of diverse and interesting projects he has been involved in over his 30 year career. These projects include residential properties such as his own award winning home, arts projects like the Barony Centre in Ayrshire, transport projects such as Brodick Ferry Terminal and a large number of interesting schools. These projects include Carnegie Primary School in Dunfermline, the first BREEAM “Outstanding” rated primary school in the UK, Notre Dame High School in Greenock, Port Glasgow Shared Campus, Clyde Valley Campus and, most recently, innovative new secondary schools in both Perth and West Calder.
Kevin is also a regular visiting critic and guest lecturer at Duncan of Jordanstone School of Architecture in Dundee, and a long standing member of Architecture & Design Scotland’s National Design Review Panel.
