The Awards Drinks & Networking Ceremony takes place on Wednesday 11th November 2020 in the Exhibition Hall at the Ricoh Arena, Coventry.

The qualifying period for entries is January 2018 onwards.

Innovative Solutions

Criteria: This award recognises innovation and vision in the design of future learning spaces that will help to promote inclusion.

Pupil/Student Experience

Criteria: This award recognises a learning establishment which has undertaken a building project or investment that significantly improves the experience of pupils/students. Entries need to include at least 1 testimonial from a pupil/student, teacher, parent or family member.

Project of the Year

Criteria: This award recognises the project team that has successfully delivered either a new build or refurbishment inclusive learning environment. Entries must clearly state who the client was, the architect(s) and contractor(s) involved and the wider project team.

Inclusive Learning Spaces for all

Criteria: This award recognises the team that has successfully delivered an inclusive learning space for all. Entries must clearly state the team involved and need to include at least 1 testimonial from a pupil/student, teacher, parent or family member.

Architectural Practice of the Year

Criteria: This award recognises an architectural practice which has demonstrated excellence in delivering value and functionality with inclusive learning projects, whilst also promoting best practice in innovative design in the education sector. Please include examples of work in the last 24 months.

Client of the Year School/Local Authority

Criteria: This award recognises the passion, direction and innovation that a school or a local authority has shown in either a new build or refurbishment inclusive learning environment.

Client of the Year College/University

Criteria: This award recognises the efforts made to either a new build or refurbishment to make it an inclusive learning environment.

Contractor of the Year

Criteria: This award recognises a main contractor (including modular building providers) that has demonstrated outstanding work in delivering inclusive learning environments. Please include examples from the last 24 months to showcase the quality of your work.

Product Innovation of the Year

Criteria: The advisory group want to see new and innovative products which have been launched and used in an inclusive learning environment setting in the last 24 months (January 2018 onwards).  The product should be:

  • Imaginative, creative, innovative and original
  • Aesthetically appealing
  • Robust, durable and safe
  • Improve on previous design

Eligibility:

  • The product should have been launched on the market within the last 24 months (January 2018 onwards)
  • It should have been in use in an inclusive learning environment for a minimum of 6 months during that time.
  • Supporting evidence from at least one user of the product will be required

Cost to enter:

  • £99 + VAT per entry
