Celebrating Excellence & Achievement in Education!

There are 8 categories to choose from – recognising consultants, contractors, architects, projects as well as innovation in designing successful Inclusive Learning Spaces.  All will be hotly contested and highly prized by the winners who will be celebrated at the Awards Dinner on 23 Feburary.

To find out more about each award and decide which categories to enter, click on the images below. Please note that all categories are free of charge to enter and you can enter as many as you wish.

The qualifying period for all projects is 1 January 2019 – 31 October 2021.

The deadline for entries is Sunday 31 October 2021.

Awards Categories

Innovative Solutions

Criteria: This award recognises innovation and vision in the design of future learning spaces that will help to promote inclusion.

Pupil/Student Experience

Criteria: This award recognises a learning establishment which has undertaken a building project or investment that significantly improves the experience of pupils/students. Entries need to include at least 1 testimonial from a pupil/student, teacher, parent or family member.

Project of the Year

Criteria: This award recognises the project team that has successfully delivered either a new build or refurbishment inclusive learning environment. Entries must clearly state who the client was, the architect(s) and contractor(s) involved and the wider project team.

Inclusive Learning Spaces For All

Criteria: This award recognises the team that has successfully delivered an inclusive learning space for all. Entries must clearly state the team involved and need to include at least 1 testimonial from a pupil/student, teacher, parent or family member.

Architectural Practice of the Year

Criteria: This award recognises an architectural practice which has demonstrated excellence in delivering value and functionality with inclusive learning projects, whilst also promoting best practice in innovative design in the education sector. Please include examples of work in the last 24 months.

Client of the Year School/Local Authority

Criteria: This award recognises the passion, direction and innovation that a school or a local authority has shown in either a new build or refurbishment inclusive learning environment.

Client of the Year College/University

Criteria: This award recognises the efforts made to either a new build or refurbishment to make it an inclusive learning environment.

Contractor of the Year

Criteria: This award recognises a main contractor (including modular building providers) that has demonstrated outstanding work in delivering inclusive learning environments. Please include examples from the last 24 months to showcase the quality of your work.
